Life Behind the Iron Curtain

This week's speaker will be Pauline Perreault from Edmonton, a former Rotary Youth Exchange Student and she will be talking about "Life Behind the Iron Curtain": Pauline spent her Rotary year in the former East Germany. This was a mere 9 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall. She will share stories from her experience and host families of what life was like for those who woke up one morning to a wall separating them from the rest of the country.
